Questioins on a H22 swap.
Im getting ready to do a H22 swap when I get back home from Afghanistan. My question is im tired of changing my motor everytime I have to get smogged. Is the H22 possible to pass State referee and would they notice if its a JDM or a USDM motor? I have a EG6. Thanks for the help guys I would really appreciate some feedback....

depends on where you live, if you live in CA, good luck, it's hard to pass especially a h22

Get the car tuned.. run a chipped P28 i dont think you will have an issue unless its in california. One thing you can always do since your in the military is have a friend in the military give you a PO box in their city that doesnt require smog.. Like here in albuquerque we have Tijeras and Edgewood dont require.. Good luck though dude.
