h22 cel codes - 12, 20, 36
93 JDM h22 in 92 cx. running jdm p13 ecu. everything stock
I know the code 12 is the egr, 20 - electrical load detector, and 36 - traction control (for jdm ecu's).
I don't care about the code 12.
I've searched for the code 20 and found a bunch of things I need to check (grounds, fuses, alternator, etc).
Just wondering if anyone else has thrown a code 36 and what I need to do to fix it. Any other tips on the code 20 would help as well. Thanks guys.
Edit: problems with the car: tach jumps, it bogs/bucks after it warms up or get on it over 25% throttle (like it's about to die).

Re: h22 cel codes - 12, 20, 36 (Braco11)
My car has the exact same codes, 12, 20, 36. I don't think that theres anyway of getting rid of 36. My car bogs and hesitates too between 2000-3500 when its warm. I'm pretty sure that its cause the EGR isn't hooked up, but I could be wrong. Anybody know??

The only thing that I have seen a EGR code do is put it into a "limp" mode (I really think it was the ECU). Your problem is not EGR. Look into ignition. Check your timing. You do a tune up yet?

Re: h22 cel codes - 12, 20, 36 (turbogixxer)
I've got a cracked Dist. cap. That is probably the reason. I'm gonna change it tonite and see if that helps it out!. Should we get rid of the EGR code? Is it holding back performance??

Hook it up or run a ECU that does not have EGR (p28, p72, etc)

The only thing that I saw was the "limp" mode thing I posted about earlier.
