obviously....
this h2b kit has been made for a reason.
if it was that easy to just go and bolt up a b tranny to an h block, i think it would have been done by many already.... even if you can get a significant amount of bolts in without an adapter , not only is that unsafe, but its also ******* ghetto, and stupid...
as for your question....

it was probably an illusion...
im not saying you dont know your tranny's...
but he could have simply persuaded you to think it was a b-tranny when in fact it was an actual h-tranny...
maybe...?.....

lmao. no it was a b tranny. thae guy wasnt gonna lie to me. he had it custom with gsr 1 and 2 b16 3 and 4 and ls 5th gears. it also had lsd. its not an illusion i seen the car and rode in it. the goddamn car pulled like it was in 1st gear thru the first 3 gears. i saw two bolts that didint line up and it looked a little cocked at an angle in reltation to the motor, but everything was mounted. im gonna try to find pics.
here is a link to the thread when he was selling it a few months back. read the posts if you dont believe me
https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2
his friend who bought it is now selling it/trading it. so i might want to trade him my car for it. i just dont want the tranny flying off on me

there is a couple of these creations around, this is the first I have heard that actually works (so far atleast). With a custom tranny casing there is allot of possibilities however you are pretty much married to the casing, so if you want to switch trannies have fun
The stock B casing will not line up with the stock H22 block plain and simple.

do you not here what i said. i say it with my own eyes. it was a b16 case. and yes it was cocked at an angle, and missing a few bolts that hold it to the motor. it does work, plain and simple.
a few years back people were saying an h22 coulnt go in a civic palin and simple.

So it's missing half the bolts that mate the tranny and block together and you ask us what we think? Do you really need us to answer that? Maybe we should hold our suspension together with some bailing wire while were at it
a stock case will not bolt up to a stock H motor. The casing and/or block was modified on that car to get even some bolts to line up. You say yourself you have no experience so take the advice of someone that does. Either way it's a hack job on it's way to disaster.

Take a pic of the shift linkage area to prove your point. Or I should say, where the shift cables should attach to the tranny on an h-series transmission.

I sure the hell hope not with the B tranny.
Either way it's a hack job POS disaster waiting to happen missing bolts like that

The transmition and HEAD use DOWELS to locate their positioning to the block. Whenever you see dowels between two peices of metal it means that the two assemblies require a high degree of tollerance when locating.
in other words, you cant slap a tranny onto a block with cockeyed holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even if you got it to work it wouldnt last very long at all.
