Default GS-R to Type R Conversion

I am getting ready to convert a GS-R to Type R. I can get a Type R motor, tranny, and ECU for $5000. Installation will be $1000. What other parts do I need? Is this a good price, and where else can I get these parts along with anything else I need? I work at a Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi dealership and can get what I need from Japan at cost plus commision plus shipping and handling. I would like some prices to compare though. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I forgot to mention that I bought the car WITHOUT AN ENGINE! Why would I spend $5000 for an additional 30 Horsepower?

I second to that!!! Take the 5G's and drop a turbo on that beeeitch. With the extra loot you have, use to bulletproof your internals so you can run boost in the double digits.

U need these stuff:

suspension: ZEAL B6, KYB Super Special Gymkhana(cheap and adjustable),
TEIN HR/HA (all here are coilovers) etc...

brakes: acura vigor, legend or older version's NSX's brake calipers (or go for SPOON, AP Racing, Endless/Project U's 4pot calipers if money is not a problem) plus Brembo, Endless or Project U's brake discs, Earl's/Goodridge's stainless steel brake hoses, Motul or Endless's brake fluid

Tires: Toyo T1/T1-S, very nice dry/wet tires for street, or Bridgestone RE711/RE01, Advan Neova, etc...

Body/chassis strength reinforcement(or I should say improvement):
-SPOON/CUSCO front and rear tower bar
-CUSCO front and rear lower arm bar
-Do Luck Room Bar
*or maybe do some more welding on those beams?

Sell your GSR and buy an ITR. You'll be happy believe me.

You can NEVER convert a GSR into a Type R! It's not just the motor and trans.
