i have seen it done before, some guy bought the assembled block, assembled head and full tranny, and dropped it into his gsr.

Keep in mind that he's setting his car up for autox.
Autox guidelines are very strict.
It's more fun to be competitive in your class, instead of getting beat down every month.

Putting an ITR motor in a GSR bumps you to a Modified class automatically, where your car will be outclassed.

Also, I believe you have to rebuild with OEM GSR (or equivilent) parts to still run in stock class.
If you truly want to get into auto-x, buy a rulebook, and then read what restrictions you have in stock class. Then aim from there.

and my answer for autox future plans are build what you want and then go see what class you are in. *Unless you are prepping an autox ONLY car.... aka a trailer *****.
