Default gear problems after B18c transplant

I have just put a JDM ITR B18cR in my civic hatch and ever since i have been having this issue with 4th gear.
Now some background. I have an EK hatch with JDM ITR 00 gearbox with 4.785FD, LSD and all the necessary fruit for the B18c. I have had the gearbox in the car for 11 months now without any dramas. Since i put my new engine in i am finding it grinds into 4th gear when under throttle. Why ?
why would it be suddenly doing that for
