my advice would be to get a friend who has done one, and have him help you do it. this way you will learn more about YOUR car, as opposed to just paying someone to do it. this will help you learn the ins and outs of ou car, where each part goes, and why it goes there. if something goes wrong, you can learn how to fix it and know what is wrong.

Thats great in theory, however it is my daily driver and I don't really have time to do that. I really wish I could, but I work and am a full time student as well. Time as they say isn't on my side unfortuantly.

i did that to my daily driver accord over christmas break. it is doable. i mean depends on if you wnat to save money. i understand your position, i am a full time student also at UF. i dont erally know any shops in jax. sorry

I own a shop in Brevard County (Near Cocoa Beach), We do lots of Honda Motor Swaps. What kind of car do you have and what motor are you looking to swap into it. I live in gainesville, basicaly north central florida like where your at and I got so frustrated with the lack of shops and anyone knowing a damn thing around here I just ended up doing it myself. There is a guy down here in gainesville, he charges 500 bucks and part owner of a shop down here. Although I dont really like him to much he is very good at engine swaps. He has down a poo poo load of them. Your call email me if you need more info
