There is a way easier way to get the axles out. (Do everything for both sides)
1. Loosen the lug nuts and axle nut
2. Loosen four nuts in the engine bay (2 for the upper control arm and 2 for the shock)
3.Raise the car and take off the wheels
4.Take the lower bolt out for the shock, remove the four nuts in the engine bay, and remove the shock.
5.Remove the nut from the axle, push the axle out of the hub, then finish pulling it from the hub and the transmission.
Install the reverse of removal.
This is the fastest, easiest way I've found for removing axles. This way should take most people about 5-10 minutes per side. It's alot easier than trying to remove the lower ball joint.

Re: FAQ: Detailed B Series Swap into 5th Gen Civic How-To - Check it Out and Help Eve
Ok so I may have made a mistake. I jus bought a 91 si with a b18a1 problem is when i bought it the motor wasnt in it. im not car stupid but i do not know where to start with this wiring. I know the motor has been installed in the car cuz ive seen it run it was pulled for an overhaul and the owner lost interest so he sold it to me. ive got everything back in the car motor, tranny, etc... And i have majority of it wired i think. problem is when i try to turn it over the starter doesnt click and and the fuel punmp isnt running but the lights work and everything.... i guess i dont really know what my question is but im very frustrated any help is appreciated.
