Is f2b ac compatible in the ek chasis?
I've been researching this for my F2D which will be going into an EK. I haven't been able to really mock everything up yet, but from some rough measurements it seems to be reasonably doable.
what i've found:
-the balance shafts must be eliminated and the crank pulley be shifted toward the block (taking the place of the balance belt cog.) this moves the belt and pulley away from the frame rail so you don't have to do much cutting there.
-the oil pump must be trimmed to make room for the pulley shift. nothing serious, i just gave it a go with the hack saw and cleaned it up on the wire wheel.
-you must run a pusher type slim fan on the front of the condenser to allow for the alternator and compressor to fit on the front of the larger block.
-brackets will need to be custom, accounting for the shift in belt location and clearance of other things like the exhaust manifold. the alternator will need to hing acting as the tensioner like the F-series is set up originally.
i will add that i haven't come across anyone yet that has done this. maybe it's because most aren't daily drivers, and the ones that are didn't need it or weren't willing to spend the effort to have it.

Thanks man, ya I haven't heard o anyone with an f2b setup with ac. I kno with the b series tranny it puts the motor closer to the rad support so idk
