f23 auto ecu need help
ok.. heres what i got.. rebuilding an f23a7 using dc5r pistons and little port work to the head. NO balance shafts (they're g*y). balanced the rotating assembly. s2000 dampener. blah blah and some other little goodies.
the question is... its going in a 94 accord auto. yes auto. need to know what ecu to use. or better yet. can a p28 that will be running chrome, also be able to run the auto trans or do i need an ecu with an auto trans circuit?
is that trans controlled by the ecu?
or should i run a POA? is it socketable?
any ecu suggestions would be great.
thanks for the help

Re: f23 auto ecu need help
IIRC the accords have a seperate TCM (which involves a 4th plug on the ECU) a chipped P28 wont work, even if its an automatic version. You will need to chip the ECU you have (a lot of tuners from what I understand can't tune automatic ECUs, or can't do it properly) You may have to swap in a 5 speed, which would be a lot less hassle anyway.
