Re: f20b stock dyno (HeikDiesel)
honestly that was the motor that was rated at 180 and like im sure any one who is a f20b guy knows there are 2 version and that the midrange one is rated a 180 to improve gas milage , i got the top end one key word top end so with that being said i missed shifted countless times with this swap and it still going if it does pop it will be because of a faulty auto tension that way im getting the h23 manual one supports aftermarket mods better you can tell when your car is not pulling any more the f20b was made to be rev happy it the blue print for the f20c which is a beast at 9k once i get my head upgraded i will shift at 92k with the jun cams

Re: f20b stock dyno (luckey#7)
dyno showed you where peak power was 6900... going up to 8500 will just make you slower... it's been known that the F20B likes to do damage at 8K+ on stock...good chance you put in type s/euro r cams your peak power will be the same...shift at 6900...
should be about the same power as the H22A4 even if the F20B was a manual version...H22A4 would have more torque...

Not likely, tryin to help you out... to be honest id see 185 give or take with what you just mentioned... 2.0
leave the OEM stock valves in there, they are not replacable in stock size...
If trying to reach 200 whp on it id go with Pro 2's mill the head a tiny bit, cam gears and p28 crome
Euro R i had dyno'd recently which cams are same as Type S far as I know made same power as our JDM H22's we had dyno'd same mods p28 crome tuned same dyno and tuner...
Euro R actually made about 12 ft lbs torque less then the JDM H22's we dyno'd
(Secondaries are nice on the torque)

Re: f20b stock dyno (Bense)
judging from the valve sitting in there that was a timing issue the same thing happened to my first f20b ofcourse i missed alot higher than 85k more like 92k but any way i came to find out my t belt was fine but my tensioner was so loose you could move it with your hand. so did it pop the first time or was this over a period of time , i dont know but there are 3 guys who have the same set up as me and they shift at 85 also hey when it pops i will post the pics it been 3 months since the install and alot hard driving still pulling hard just did a compession check kinda caold let it sit for an hour i got 260 225 260 260 not bad hun

No it wasn't. I was running a h22 belt, which is one tooth shorter than a f20b belt, as well as a h23 manual tensioner.

You rev your motor to 92,000 RPM's, that is awesome

Id be a little worried about that 225 number. Thats like a 20% difference

Re: f20b stock dyno (HeikDiesel)
well thats a major difference but they are all above 215 which what i think a stock h22 is suppose to be but hey i got dynoed and yes i was wrong as hell even though i can rev to 9k im not making power but im hurting my motor in the process the head needs some support to flow better to take advantage of the high rpms not to mention tunning im going hondata after my t belt change so the offical rev limit on my f20b is 7800 i make about 170 and then it drops to like 120 after that so bense i guess i m luckey but i shift at 8k now any way he was right i was wrong

thats what i was thinking , but what are the odds of gettign a manula motor with no tranny attached , (since it comes with a T2T4/w LSD) i wouldnd think anyone would want to seperate them .
usually autos that come with no tranny for obvious reasons .

Stock h22 : 10.6:1(?)
F20b: 11:1
Compression numbers shouldn't be close
