Is there a benefit to mounting it on the torque mount as opposed to where most traction bars go?

Seems kinda pointless as most people are already using aftermarket mounts which already prevent engine movement. I could understand if it had a shock of some sort to resist movement but a rigid mount seems a little overkill.

Q:does it matter if you're using the qsd or evo kit?
A:We have a kit for each...

A:Believe it or not the front torque mount kit will actually aid more then you think in keeping the engine stationary.
Q:Things like this are horrible for motor mounts.
A:Front Torque Mount Kit features polyurethane bushings on each end to prevent harsh movement of the engine and to eliminate vibration thus taking stress off the rest of the mounts. If anything the front torque mount kit will keep that rear mount in duty longer.

Shouldn't be any issues as far as fitment and clearance between the crank pulley and radius rod. Pictured car is a DC lowered 2"+.

Too bad that's an H22 transmission, I would like pictures of an h2b car with these traction bars.

I'll have some up shorty, just happens our DC h22 sits in the same spot as the evo kit just higher and with a tilt.

Um, sorry but no. Things like this actualy cause more vibrations and motor movement to go threw the factory mounts which in turn over time will destroy the mounts.
Trust me I have seen it many many many times. items like this (sorry if you are the builder) are just out there to make money and have no real advantage. The ONLY way to make a motor stiffer (stay in place with less movement) the RIGHT way is to get stiffer mounts. Any add on mounts will just cause havoc with the rest of the mounts.

I appreciate your concern and your theory. This is more of a informative post. The ultimate setup is to have polyurethane mounts with our Front Torque Mount Kit. I can see if a heim was used with no polyurethane bushing or rubber would do damage to the stock mounts but this is not the case. Has polyurethane bushing on each end of the Front Torque Mount Kit.
Yes I am one of the builders and owner.
Our Front Torque Mount Kit has been proven to be successful in its past years...

Re: ESP H2B/H2D/F2B/F2D Front Torque Mount Kit Traction Bar System EG/EK/DC (ESP.net)
Its the amount of polyurethane that alows movement. If thats a 17mm bolt going threw the mount in the pic than there looks to be no more than a inch of poly there with 14mm's take out of the middle. That doesn't alow for much movement for vibration (which is kinda funny because that is what this is built to do I assume) so the excess movement taken up by this very ridged mount is sent to the other mounts, mainly the rear. Over time the extra vibrations and movement on the rear mount will egg out the bolt hole and crack and break up the poly or rubber or whatever is in the rear mount.
I have also seen in the past where these mounts will be so stiff (even with polyurethane) that they will pull the threads out of the block or crack the aluminum from hard shifts or launchs.
