I haven't been able to work on the car but had my mechanic try to start it after everything was hooked back up, The car cranks but not start. I texted him to check all the grounds, check for fuel, oil pressure and spark. is there anything else I should be having him check? I wont be able to go down and work on the car for a while no time off from work.

Ok got the car to start and run for a little bit it doesn't seem to idle at all and if you give it gas it doesn't sound right like it isn't getting the right amount of gas or badly out of time. is there a easy way to check the timing or put it back in time? could be the fact that I am missing the knock sensor it came broken and I never got a new one, or my iacv is hooked up wrong.

I'm new to this forum, I'm more knowledgeable of f22's . I just picked up a f20b for my ek hatch (couldn't pass up the price). I'll post up pics to help other people out, and maybe myself.

Can you use an h22 head gasket on the f20b? I have an h22 head that I'm putting on it an was wondering cause bisimoto sells an f20/h22 headgasket but the bore on it is 87mm as apposed to the f20's 85mm bore. Trying to find this out asap so I can start getting my motor back together

yep you'll def need the 85mm. Cometic makes a multi layer HG that will work.

So I read through half of this and didn't see the answer to this question but if it was covered sorry. Will H22 ARP head studs work fine with this?

As for ACL bearings I'm looking to do main and rod bearings. What am I looking for. Just a standard F20 bearings?

Never mind found what I was looking for.

Another question though. Since I am doing main and rod bearings should I do the thrust washers as well? And if I do what will I need for those?

Not the same head. H22a head has larger intake valves then the f20b head

So... It's the same head with smaller valves. Got it.

I'm going to be purchasing an f20b,LSD trans and ecu in the next couple of weeks to swap into my 01 accord. Kinda new to swapping on a honda. Seeing as its from an accord I'm under the impression the swap should be straight forward. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on issues I may have

ok so I have my F20b in my car and it turns overs and runs like **** so I am throwing a few codes and i'm not sure how to fix them. Im running a P13 ecu for the time being until I can afford to get it chipped and socketed with chrome and if that can be the issue with my car not running correctly.

What my car is doing is : very slow acceleration, sputters, no vtec, and there is white residue in the exhaust.

Code 9, Code 21, Code 10

code 21 I know is vtec spool and I have it wired up and pinned in the right ecu spots I even wired in the vtec solenoid. Cleaned the screen making sure it wasn't plugged but nothing seems to clear this code.

Code 9 cyp I double checked my dizzy wiring because I am running a TD 61 with my obd 2 harness I rewired it but if anyone has a diagram showing how it is supposed to be so I can double check that would be awesome.

Code 10 I believe is IAT and I know that's not hooked up because I broke the sensor so just waiting on money to buy a new one.

White residue in exhaust usually means the head gaskets on its last legs

Alright guys. I'm putting the motor in this weekend, and for all the EK guys out there, I'm using the the stock f20B wire harness and ecu. First thing I had to figure out was the ek C131 green plug in the passenger side of the car I found the pinouts for that, and the pinouts for connector A on the f20b ecu("A" connector on f20b ecu connects to cabin harness in Torneo SiR-T). see matched items. Looks like I don't need anything else. what do you guys think?

Next thing on my wiring list was to figure out the C101 plug on the EK I found the pinouts for that.
