Default f20b civic eg or keep my dc2?

Alright looking for some insight here. I have a 97 gsr which I enjoy as my daily driver. It's been a decent car nothing too major for parts. I have the option of trading for a civic si 92 that has an f20b vtec swap in it. I'll lose power steering and Ac but can always hook up later. My questions are, as far as daily driving what kind of things would I look for on the eg that are common issues? Also opinions on what you guys would do lol.

F20 eg, just for originality, and they can rev 8k on stock internals. I haven't heard any F20 horror stories, but I know that they are strong motors designed for Super GT300 racing

I'd stick with the GSR. One of the best motors and you have AC and PS. AC isn't cheap to just 'hook up'.

AC can be added to anything. It may cost to be cool.custom lines can easily tackle the clearance issue.I have an h swap and although i dont have ac i dont think it would be that hard to add it. f20bs are cheap can buy one for 500 from ebay plus shipping. i say keep the teg if its clean.Although a f20b civic is alot of fun

I went with the f20b civic lol. I liked the Teg, but it was one thing after the other...wheel bearings were bad the P.O "drifted" it, so the side had a terrible spot where he "fixed" it, so it looked pretty bad. The trunk was rusted through to the floor...can't say the Civic is perfect, but I'l be doing ball joints and it shouldn't be too bad. Plan on replacing the fenders and repainting in soon, but we will see how that goes. The only issue I have is it needs to be tuned, I think it's tuned with an f22 map, because it rev limits at 7000rpm...I will be taking it to a shop to get a dynotune I believe in the next few weeks. Also I had a shot at a complete AC setup from an EG (have the lines going into the car already just need the hoses, which there is a place near me that does special hoses I am going to get in touch with) but the guy sold it to someone else. Such is life I need to hit the local junk yard and see what I can pull. I also plan on redoing the radiator support in the Civic too...lots of work and no time lol.
