EX ECU ON LS MOTOR...WILL IT AFFECT THE PEFORMANCE?
I have a 2000 ls motor but no ls ecu.I was wondering if an obd1 ex ecu will affect the performance of the motor?By the way its going into an eg... if that helps at all. THANKS!

of course it will affect performance. Your running an ECU that was meant for a 1.6l motor. Chip the ecu(I assume it a p28)and put a stock LS program on it.

You would also be constantly throwing codes for vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure sensor.
