EW block and D16A1 head?
I have a 1.5 carbed EW-1 out of my 84 CRX. I can get a good deal on a brown top D16A1 DOHC head. I've heard some stories about this swap, but will it bolt up? I know there will be some problems with wiring, but not too bad because its all vacuum advance; I just need to know if the studs will match up. Thanks.

You'll have much more luck by posting on http://www.redpepperracing.com. They have a great 1st gen CRX and 3rd Gen Civic forum.

why not just pick up a 1st gen integra swap? bolts right in. I would say that head won't work since its a different engine and not even alike. 1st gen integra swaps can be had for cheap man.

Yeah, but then again, I'm not going to let the EW just sit around to collect dust, and nobody wants that engine. I mean nobody. Except for maybe some person that needed an engine just for driving. But I figure if they blew theirs, they would just buy a new car. Yeah, I've been doing research on the D16A1 (1st gen Teg), they are cheap, and they will bolt right in, but they are hard to find around here. Plus I can get a A1 head for $50 complete. Good deal if you ask me. Someone emailed me something, and pictures, and it does bolt right on. Thanks! No matter though, in the process of selling it....
