enormous shaking at 27-30mph
hello all,
i have a 94 civic coupe (no flames please) with 2nd gen b16a, one place racing mount (pass side tranny b/c my car used to be automatic), all other mounts are stock, raxles axles, wheels are balanced, etc etc etc.
when i hit 27-30mph, the entire car shakes like a madman. doesn't matter what gear i'm in...but below or above that speed range, car's fine.
any ideas?

- you need a wheel alignment
- you're wheel bearings are going bad
- the raxles could be an issue...possibly too short of an axle or too long.
- axles nuts are loose
- lug nuts are loose, giving you a wobbly wheel

could also have a very badly bent wheel. usually bent wheels show the effects at lower speeds while balance ikssues show up at high speeds.

hmmm...an alignment...must be it, b/c
-wheel bearings: new
-raxles: already had the wrong ones. they wouldn't fit. measured the ones on right now against the reg. b16 ones, same length.
-axle nuts are tiiiite.
-lug nuts are tight too.
thanks for the suggestion!
