Anyone know if a standard engine stand will bolt to the b series motors, where did you bolt it and what thread/size bolts did you use. thanks, btw its a b20.

 

Yep a standard engine stand works just fine. You just use the tranny bolts and bolt them into their respective holes on the flywheel side of the block (flywheel removed, of course).

Thanks Dustin. I'll have to goto acura tommorow and get some bolts for the tranny bell housing because i don't have any spares, the motor's being delivered tommorow. hopefully they have them and won't be too expensive, that prob. won't happen tho heh.

 

just go to the hardware store and get some 12 x1.25mm bolts that look like the right length. Don't waste money at the acura dealer.

I do not recommend use of the tranny bolts as they are too short.
find something longer with the same thread pitch. You want them
to be at least 3/4" into the block
