Default Good idea or what???

I've been thinking a a way to get a new motor for very cheap and perhaps even free.

My idea: Buy a del sol vtec or even gsr (whole car) for dirt cheap....then swap motors with my 95 civic's d16 turbo motor...and resell the car at a higher price for two reasons:
<ul>[*]people are stupid and won't even care or notice (epecially some kid who just got their license or even the dealer)[*]the car will turn up low 14's all day long at 10 psi. 2 seconds better than it ran before.[/list]
What do you guys think...good idea or not...better yet will it even work (D16 into a gsr)?

Not

yes the d16 swaps right into the integra (some jap spec tegs actually come w/ one)
You can probably be held liable if you don't tell them it's not the right engine. Some no one would buy a teg for more money just because it has a turbo sohc motor.......well that's my .02 anyway..

That makes alot of sense...the liability aspect. Assuming I told them that it was a motor swap and sold it for right around the same price it wouldn't be a bad idea...especially for the del sol, right?

yeah, it would be a better Idea in the del sol since it that motor comes in a del sol....and you might be able to get back what you paid, or a little less on a gsr...if you found a good deal....then again, why not just keep the gsr, or del sol?

My civic already has everything...full body kit, molded 3-piece wing, shaved emblems, 2000 supra-white custom paint job, custom interior, 4 wheel disc brakes...the works!!!
