Default Engine IDENTIFICATION

Hi !

There's this guy that tries to sell me a B18C1. He says that it's a 98 with 29k Km on it. Is there a way for me to know that what he's saying is true ???

I know that u can see the engine info ( ex: B18C etc.. ) but , what about the year and maybe some other information ???

THANKS GUYS !
