get the numbers off the bottomend located in the front and run it with the local sheriffs. luckily my sister in-law is a sheriff so i just call her up before purchasing motors.

forgot to tell you, if it's jdm then there's no way of telling even with the serial number off the block. i think hybrid-honda awhile back had an article about this.
