hey guys, today i went to a scrappies n i checked out how much my engine would cost me check these pics..










cost £300 u guys recon its ok its a 1.6i

i couldnt find the marking only one i could find was the HM i dont know if its a b16 or what says 16 bellow it i think lol

That is a d16 or lower. Check the front part of the block where the block meets the transmission. Tehre is a stamp there that will tell you what motor it is. If 300pounds is closer to $500 it's not tooo bad if they give you everything, axles, mounts, tranny.

 

hmm iam after a b16 would that engine do the same job or be faster?

take it thats pritty good then what kinda hp does that kick out? 160 or more?

 

ok nm answered my own question kicks out 112 where as the b16a2 is 160 so il get a b16a2 :D
