em1 w/ itr tuning issues
2000 civic si em1 w/ its swap on p28 ecu
so i was getting tuned on chrome and my car didnt want to accept any base maps and i wasnt making power tuner thinks i have a electrical issue and wants to check it out basically it leans out really bad top end so i got home popped open my ecu and i seen my chip has 2 broken pins and i go to turn my car on and my main really starts buzzing im like wtf and before my tune i was having issues with my car turning on so i find out it was a bad ground on the thermo housing and i was told that ground is the ecu and main relay ground could that have effected my tune at all? since its also ground for my ecu?

Run on sentence. Punctuation nonexistent.
How is it affecting your tune when the ECU wasn't accepting inputs? I'm not even sure what that even means. You're not tuned. Broken pins on the chip or socket? I would think that would be a big problem either way.
I'd go to another tuner. Doesn't sound like he's very experienced. And you're driving that car with it running that lean? How did he let you leave all jacked up like that? Even a chip with a basemap would have been better than what you have now. But then again, your tuner doesn't sound like he knows what he is doing.
Don't sit there and wonder if it's messing with anything. You know it's a deficiency so fix it and go from there.

LOL Marc your such a ***hole.. i love it.
OP: another thing is to check with your tuner to see if he tunes other reliable platforms such as hondata, AEM, Neptune.. This will weed out someone who knows what hes doing vs some kid with a laptop and a free program that anyone can get.
Edit: ou can get a basemap chip from Xenocron.com already to drop in.

Just saying. Most of the people posting have no clue what is causing their car not to behave as it should. But when you KNOW that something is messed up and you do nothing to fix it and then wonder if it's a problem? Can't explain that.
A proper basemap would not leave the engine running lean. Fix the broken pin issue. Fix/clean up the ground. Get a decent basemap.
