Default EK Harness Question and Problem...

I just bought bought a 99-00 Civic Si engine harness from a Friend, It was removed completely from the engine, Nothing cut. My plans are as follow, I want to put it into my LS/VTEC 96 Hatch with obd2-obd1 plugs. My question is, do Si harness come only with Two Plugs for the computer or 3, I looked at the harness and it didnt have any wires cut at the Plugs, so I know its not missing the other Big Plug, Its has Three plugs right now, The Green one that connects to the Under-dash Harness and then One Blue one and a Medium Sized one but it doesnt have the Biggest of the Three PLUGS that plug up to the Computer. I am going to post a picture of the Plug sided of the engine harness connected to the p2t Si computer.
Anyone else Have that problem.

The plug styles changed in the 99-00 model Civic's from the OBD2 (96-98) to what most people call OBD2.5 or OBD2B. The 99-00 Si harness will not work sorrectly with the 96-98 chassis. Although they look similar and the 2 connectors plug in, the third will not so it's not worth the hassles for the rewiring involved.

It looks like you may be missing a plug...even if you weren't, you'd have to re-wire that green plug to work with your interior harness anyway...I found this out the hard way! Wiring sucks...

Villian is RIGHT on the money. I had this same problem with my 96 hatch.. got the right one for the car, and found out they rewired the car to 99-00 spec. Had to get another one. Just sell that one in classifieds or EBay and get yourself a 96-98 harness. That will be exactly what you need. Good luck!

You can't use a gsr harness in an EK chassis!
