Default obdII A to B harness question

i just swapped a b16 out of an si into my 99 hx

i had to switch the harness on the si motor from obd2B to my obd2A harness because i recently found out 99 hx's are obdIIa

anyway so now i have 4 plugs coming from the engine harness
1 plug- plugs into the car's harness which is green

the other 3 plugs- plug into the computer (im running a p72 for now)

with the harness will all 4 plugs plug into the harness?

or jsut the 3 ecu plugs, then plug into the ecu meanwhile the greenplug from the engine harness will still plug into the car's harness

my plan is to either
1) obd2A to obd2B P2T computer
2) obd2A to obd1 p28

i know the p28 is tuneable and would be best but i already have the SI computer

pictures would help

thanks

i'm pretty sure 99-00 hx's are obd2b, which would be plug and play for an si harness.

ya if your car is a 99 hx its OBD2B

96-98 = OBD2A
99-00 = OBD2B

Post pictures...unless you had an early model or something like that, you should be OBD2b

Pictures of the Stock ECU plugs and the under dash harness plugs

research it

just trust me

its obdIIA

i have one plug coming from the underdash
and 4 coming from the engine harness
3 of those plugs plug into the ECU
1 (the last plug) its green plugs into the underdash harness

on an obd2B car
3 plugs come from the engine harness
there are 2 plugs on the underdash harness (one grey one geen)
2 of the engine harness plugs plug into the computer
the grey under dash harness plug plugs into the ecu
and finally the last plug from the engine harness, plugs into the green underdash harness
