EJ6 B16A2 problem. Help!!!
Hi everyone!
I have EJ6 (OBD2A) with B16A2 from EM1 (OBD2B). At first when I engine I manage to start it with stock EJ6 ecu, but since it was running very bad I decided to put p28 instead.
I left oem EJ6 harness, just extended tps, map, iacv (done 3 to 2 wire) and evap sensors. I decided to wire myself OBD1. At first engine started for couple of secs and then died. I cant start it since then. So I pluged stock ej6 ecu and still nothing.
I'm a bit confused, because distributor has spark and fuel supply looks fine. With stock ecu it throw cel 14 which I think is because of iacv fix. Once I had cel 15 on it as well.
But when I plug p28 there was cel 10 before starting the engine. I triple checked maybe I didnt conect wires but everything seems fine. Checked connection from ecu to sensors with multimeter and they all match connectors on ecu.
While I was starting the car with p28 it threw cel 10, 41 and later also cel 8 and 9.
What else should I check. Please help!! I've been stuck with this problem for last week. Searched a lot of topics but I still can't understand whats wrong.

Re: EJ6 B16A2 problem. Help!!!
Ok, I fixed everything so far that there is no CEL, but it still won't start.
I've noticed that when I'm cranking the car after 2-3 seconds fuel pump cuts off. Later I checked spark. The same there. There is a spark for 2-3 sec and thats it. Checked Main relay and it works on other car.
Any ideas?

sounds like your on the right path. must be electrical. well I had sort of the same issue a few months ago, turned out to be the ignition switch. last week my car died while racing wouldnt restart. just cranked wouldnt start, turned out the 2 tooth gear from the distributor broke off. not saying this is your issues but **** happens and you never know

I would check all your wiring from OBD2 to OBD1 again to make sure you converted correctly.
