EG6 swap
sup guys,
i duno if this is the right forum to post this thread, moderators do what you got to do. i have a 95 si, and i'm planning to swap it out for a dohc vtec motor. i have pritty much everything for the swap but the shift linkage and wire harness, being that the one in the car is straight mickey moused. i was wondering what shift linkage can i use, i heard either a gsr or b16 will work fine and which obd1 harness can i use without redoing any of the wires. also if your in the LA area and have these parts im intrested in pickingit up.

It does not matter what harness you use, you are still going to have to run wires to the ECU. If you want the least work, that get a 94-95 GSR harness. But you are going to still have to run wires to the ECU.
BTW: knock sensor is D3 and secondary butterflies is A17

Re: EG6 swap (EGGOT6)
If you swap a second gen B16 into your 95 Si, the only thing you will need to wire up is knock sensor if you use the jdm P30 that comes with the swap and definitely recommend keeping the factory Si harness.
Or you may keep the factory P28 with your car, get it chipped and not have any wiring at all.

Re: EG6 swap (poison)
i would have used the si harness off the car if it wasnt all messedup, i really don't wanna try to rewire it so ima just pickup another wireharness.
