Default EG B18C1 hybrids with the Spoon Tri-Y header...clearance issues

I'm getting a used Spoon header for my B18C1 CX hybrid EG. I have H&R race springs now...it's going to be time to upgrade. Does anyone have recommendations? I don't want to sit so low that I will scrape up the Spoon header. I understand the Spoon header sits A LOT lower than most other headers.

Thanks.

Well the springs you have drop your car about what ,2.25"-2.75"? Depending on where you live(road conditions) it might not be a good idea. I have not seen the spoon headers in person (on the car at least), but from what info i do have, the header might sit to low. Hope this helps.

buy ground controls or a coilover setup. you can adjust the ride height of the vehicle so that you won't scrape the spoon header.

my thoughts exactly.. I have KYB AGXs and Skunk2 coilovers.. I also have a 4-1 on my EK and it does sit low, the Spoon doesn't sit any lower than that, but close enough.. I can change my ride height anytime (takes 10-15min and a jack).. This is always the optimal way to go, and they're not expensive by any means..

Shocks will be fun to figure out, here's my 2 cents.. Koni Yellows or AGXs for adjustability, Koni Reds for not.. Skunk2 or Ground Control coilovers.. There are alot more companies that do springs and shocks, however, this is MY excellent handling, low-budget setup.. $330shipped for shocks, $200pickup on springs.. Can't beat that..

Okay, Skunk2's or Ground Controls? What are the spring rates on the Skunk2's? I know with GC's you can choose custom spring rates.
