Default EF Sedan with GSR Questions

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I tryed searching but came up with noting. I have a 1989 Civic Sedan that I just put a b18c1 into. I'm having some issues with clearance on the firewall.

1 - The fuel line coming out of the firewall is sticking too far out to run a intake tube, is anyone runnig the stock b18c1 manifold on this car?

2 - My upper heater hose from the heater core going to the motor. How do you run one without it rubbing on everything? Is there a certain hose I can get for it that is molded to work? Is it possible to switch the upper and lower on the heater core, I think if I did that it would clear. Here are a couple pics of my problems. Any help would be great, thanks!

Here is the manifold Im using

I was hoping there was a cheaper way out of it but I'm going to have to order the Skunk2 manifold. Whats a iacv?

Bump.

I ordered a Skunk2 Manifold, so I got that.

Any Suggestions on the heater hose? Can a switch them and still have them work properly?

What ECU do you have? With the Skunk2 manifold, you'll need a chipped ECU or one that came from a car with single runner on the intake manifold. If not, your acceleration will suffer.

Rywire.com hondata or any swap shop nowadays can do it for you. Check the Classified forums for chipped ECU for OBD1 GSR.

chipped ecu and the skunk2 manifold will most definetly give you more power, however, you could have just bent the fuel line downwards and out of the way to fit an intake on there. but, if you already purchased the manifold it pays to get the chipped ecu, it will come in handy as you continue to mod your engine.

I was thinking of bending the fuel line down but I have done that before and broken them, I didn't want to chance it. Plus its an excues to get something better.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the info, I got it started up tonight and its awesome! My first VTEC motor, pretty sick!
