Default EF fuel pump upgrade

Anyone using a GSR fuel pump in their B series powered EF? If so was the upgrade worth it? What are the wiring changes that need to be done? Are there any other mods? TIA

If your going to the trouble to replace a fuel pump, I'd go ahead and buy a Bosch unit. They supply VOLUME, not just pressure.

Wiring on any FP is simple - 2 wires attach to the top of the pump.

The high pressure in tank Walbro units supply more volume at pressure (except at the extreme top range (above 80 psi) ) than the Bosch units. And the in tank models are about $115.

I have an ITR pump in my CRX. Wiring is plug & play. You just need to transfer the ITR/GSR pump to the EF's fuel pump bracket. Only thing is, the ITR/GSR fuel pump is shorter than the EF's. If you can get the fuel pump to sit lower on the bracket, then you won't have to worry about keeping your gas at 1/8th tank or higher. I learned the hard way. HTH.

Default Bosch

The Bosch pump # is 10208 if you want to search around for data. It does require minor modification to the EF pump bracket to fit.

Walbro makes an EF pump now. I just got one. Fits decent (hard to get in the tank) works very damn well. The car isn't too rich and is no longer lean.

autoperformanceengineering.com is where I got mine from.

I think holly is walbro. Actually, its the other way around. Walbro makes the Holly pumps and they're cheaper.
