WALBRO Fuel Pump PROBLEMS????
I was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with a 255 walbro pump after installing on a boosted EF. I installed this pump in my tank on my EF and I'm experiencing excessive noise when it is about a half tank or less. When it is at the 1/4 tank level it runs out of fuel alltogether. Has anyone experienced a similiar situation??? If I have a full tank of fuel it runs fine and keeps good pressure, just weird after 1/2 tank of fuel or less. Thanks for any help

Did you put the rubber part at the bottom of the pump on upside down?????
What I always do when installing a new aftermarket pump is to measure both the height to the top of the pump bracket opening and from the sock to the top of the bracket to make sure it was correct..
Also I always install the pump on to another bracket and put the oem pump and bracket up against the aftermarket pump and bracket and make sure the height is the same..
I am guessing that you are either sucking in air around the sock or you have the rubber cushion upside down causing the pump to stick up in the air..
