ok ive got port and polish head cams, camgears, fuel rail, injectors header, exhaust, intake manifold, titanium retainers etc, hopefully with this u guys can help me out i know im missing some things but i hope this helps thanks in advance
Hondata will definately help, you are obd1 right? Spend atleast 1 hour on dyno for tuning and you shall achieve some nice ponies and torque. Cannot tell you how much gains, all depends on tuner and your setup. hopefully someone reading this will explain more detail of why Hondata will help. I am not good at describing crap.
if your motor isn't stock or you have good bolt ons, hondata does work. Once you change the amount of fuel and/or air getting to the cylinders, you need to tune the motor for the right a/f ratio across the rpm band. this should be done on a dyno. it's impossible to guess hp gains, but it will help.
Yes it will net you hp and tq.
it's like you have the head work and cams and all that, but the ecu is thinking no he doesn't have headwork and cams. tuning makes your car know that you have the header and other stuff. so basically it'll release more air/fuel so you can gain more hp
bring it to someone who actually knows how to tune hondata

I wouldn't spend all that money for hondata + tuning with just cams and headwork. Just get your ecu chipped. Try http://www.phearable.net/

Goto hondata's website and find out if its worth it. It not only allows you to adjust your fuel maps but also can control vtec crossover, full throlle shift, launch control, datalogging, shift light, boost etc, etc.
It doesnt come with alll of those features in the basic s200 but you can always upgrade later and olnly get what you need to start off now.
IMO it its definitely worth it. I would rather get hondata than a vafc.

you guys are all forgetting that Hondata also allows you to tune your ignition timing. This is a crucial feature that allows you to squeeze extra power out of your motor, even if it is close to stock.
BTW this thread is borderline retarded, and I'm not talking about ignition timing
