Default Distributor Fitment Question for B18C

I have a JDM B18c motor and need to replace the distributor, which options are available other than buying a new one? Are there any other compatible distributors to use other than from an Integra without having to re-wire?

Im pretty sure that only the gsr/type r distributors are compatible with your motor. You always can get the housing from an ls from the junk yard, gut it, and replace it with gsr internals.

Then again, I am not 100% sure.......anyone?
I just bought a new dist. when my coil went bad because Honda does a pretty good job at having distributors go bad.

Is your car OBDI, you could use an LS/CRV if you want cut off a leg. I have a new 95 integra dist. for $205 shipped...comes with everything to just install and plug.

If you have an OBD1 distributor then you can use a 92-93 GSR, 94-95 GSR, or 94-95 Del Sol VTEC.
If you have OBD2 then you can use the 96-01 GSR/ITR, 99-00 Civic Si, or 96-97 Del Sol VTEC.
Also be aware that you can really use any of these as long as the motor is OBD1 or OBD2. If you use a distributor of a different OBD then you can simply swap plugs.

I have a OBD2 GSR so I guess that answers my question I was wondering in the first place because I found out the distributor caps are different when I somehow was given a 99-00 Si cap instead of a GSR and the Si was not compatible but if the distributors are interchangeable that's great thanks.
