Distributer Wiring Question *LS Plugs into EX harness*
Yes I have researched. Please do not flame on me...my car has put me thru hell since i decided to throw in an "easy swap"
Anyways, I have an EX harness and it has 8 WIRES coming from it and on my B20/LS Distributer has 9. If it matters, the harness is automatic, so I cut off some of the wires and made them adapt to manual. But I am really stumped on the 9 and 8 Wire thingy.
Could it be possible that I have to run another wire into my ECU harness or run 2 of the wires into 1? Please help me out, I want my car to run by the end of the week. This could be useful for someone in the future (SP?)...

Re: (b20boost)
You are probably talking about a EK EX harness. The only wire that is not counted for is the solid blue (thick) wire right?
That is the tach output. You do not need it cause it is in your civic harness has it in it.

For 98-00 Teg:
TDC(+): Orn/Blu
TDC(-): Wht/Blu
CKP(+): Lt. Blu or Blu/Grn
CKP(-): Blu/Yel
CYP(+): Orn
CYP(-): Wht
Tach: Blu
For 96-99 Civic:
TDC(+): Orn/Blu
TDC(-): Wht/Blu
CKP(+): Lt. Blu or Blu/Grn
CKP(-): Lt. Blu/Yel or Wht
CYP(+): Orn
CYP(-): Wht or Blk
Tach: Blu *note: 96-98 models except D16B5; 99 D16Y5 with M/T*
I would assume the 00 is the same as far as main dizzy wires are concerned but since I only own the 96-99 ETM, I don't know about the 00 tach wire.
For 92-95 Civic:
TDC(+): Orn/Blu

Same for all civics Besides D16Y5 M/T, they changed the wiring for that a bit.
Edit, If you do not mind me asking, where do you get your wiring info from? helms? I have Mitchells on demand but could always use more sources.
