definitive answer needed- axles for b18c into EK
what halfshaft and what axles...thanks guys. i've heard/seen a few differing opinions on it and i've searched.
secondly, are gsr axles the same as 99-00 si axles? what about half shafts?

the axles for a 99-00 si are the same as a 94-01 integra. the only difference is that on the si axles you will always have the gear for ABS and you can get integra ones without it. the gear doesnt matter though. and i think the intermediate shafts are different. i think they mount to the block differently...but i could be wrong. i had the axles from a gsr integra along with the intermediate shaft in my 98 hatchback with no modification.

so you used all teg stuff. ok good to know because i've seen all sorts of combos and was unsure of which was the truly right one...
thanks.

SI's do not have a ring for abs as ABS was never offered on the SI....the LS/GSR/SE all had abs offered...
you need axles for any b series....you must use the correct driverside axel per which half shaft you need....
using 90-93 integra axels you need a 90-93 half shaft
using 94-01 integra/99-00 si/ 94-97 del slow vtec axels you need that corresponding half shaft.
ek hatches didn't have abs so it doens't matter if you have abs axels or not....but if you have an EX or LX 96-00 coupe that might have abs and then you will have to have abs axels....

i just had a b18c installed in my 97 civic ex last week. i used the axles and half shaft for a 94-01 integra. they fit and work perfectly.
