Default d15z2 mini me possible?

can a d15b (vtec) head go onto a d15z2 bottom end?

its an aus spec dual carby (d15z2)

i have the whole d15b vtec engine but if i can do a head swap i will

is this possible?

the dual carby actually has an ecu

i've heard problems with the d15z1 in terms of compression issues

is this the same with the d15z2?

it's an AUDM civic 'breeze' 1994

heres the specs

http://www.redbook.com.au/vehi...D94AK

well if no one can answer the previous question could someone atleast tell me;

shouldn't the bottom end of any d-series sohc 1.5L engine be compatible with the d15b head?

despite it being a dual carby, this shouldn't affect the bottom end whatsoever right?

I dont know what the compression is on the z2, but the z1 has dished pistons and the compression would be too low. Thats why most people dont use the z1 unless you would change the pistons. But if you just want to bolt the head on, it will work.

so the compression will be fine unless the pistons are dished?
