CRX w/GSR:starts up, revs to about 1G then dies
It is a B18C1 in a 91 DX with the MPFI conversion. OBD0 fuel injectors, distributor, and Zdyne chipped ecu. The ecu is not showing any codes. The timing is correct on the motor. Any suggestions? Fuel pump seems to be fine. TPS? Maybe an O2 sensor? MAP sensor? The motor revs to 600rpm most of the time, sometimes to 1G and once to 1600rpm. This happens regardless or not the throttle is opened up.

Re: CRX w/GSR:starts up, revs to about 1G then dies (RuffRhyno)
ok, I was unlugging wires and starting it to see what the problem could be, and when I unplugged the GSR's map sensor and started it it will rev up it responds to me giving it throttle, but if I let off the throttle it will drop down below idle and shut off. So, I checked the IACV to see if it was plugged in and sure enough it wasn't. I plugged that in, but the same problem, I can sustain the rpm's but if I let it drop it stalls. When I plugged the MAP sensor in, it does the same thing where it dies right after I start it.
Is this a sign of me needing a new Map Sensor?

Nevermind. Figured out that the MAP sensor is bad. But, when I unplug it it would not idle, I would have to rev it to keep it alive. I figured out that after I switched the 2 outer TPS wires, it fixed the problem and would idle.
