confusion about mounts? (b series into ek)
ok so i have a set of innovative mounts, and an si rear t bracket.
so what else do i need?
i believe the front lower two (or one? i dunno ho wmany there are?) from my d series will be used.
do i need to run any tranny mounts besides the top one?
any input is greatly appreciated.

ha ha man im asking the same question right now in my thread. i know you definately need the rear t bracket, and you also need the front lower passenger side tranny bracket from an si. im not sure if you need the rubber for that bracket from an si or if you can use your stock rubber. im trying to find that out, and also trying to find out if i need the drivers side tranny brackets/mounts from an si. i think im going to find out that i do need those ones too but alot of people here seem to think its such a big deal to give a simple answer just cause this question has been asked before. its a burden for some people to just post a damm answer

hey if you look here http://hondapartswarehouse.com...04703
you can see all the mounts, your innovative mounts replace the top 3. if you look at the tranny mounts, the drivers side one (image 1 in pic) is different from the stock dx one that in stock d series ek's. so im pretty sure we are both going to have to buy both tranny brackets
STILL NOT SURE ABOUT THE RUBBER THOUGH< can someone just answer.... will the stock d series rubber work or do we need the rubber from an si?

at first i heard you didnt need to but then some people said you do have to. what have you read about it? can i use the passenger side mount only or is the drivers side mount definately needed? i have the same innovative mounts as you. got them from kteller. this is really the last thing keeping me from cranking the engine over and being able to drive safely.

so far all i know for sure is...
-si rear t bracket
-innovative mount kit
-front a/c torque mount is not needed (but will work from d series)
-other front torque mount works from d also
im unclear about the tranny torque mounts.

like i said i know you definately need the passenger side lower tranny bracket, the stock one doesnt line up, i found out the hard way. im just trying to find out if the rubber has to be from an si too, and also if we need the drivers side lower tranny mount or can we just take it out completely.

well like i said, i may put only the innovatives in and a front torque mount with no tranny mounts, and run my dyno tuning with no hood and see how ac the motor moves.

sounds like a plan. i think im going to just get the passenger side tranny mount. it seems like without it the entire swap might tilt forward when revved.
