Default Code 78??? WTF!?

So I'm converting to obd1 from obd0... For more details, see my post in Hybrid https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=309958

Ok...after fixing the firing order & swapping the 'white' wires again, the code 9 is gone. The car starts. Unfortunately, I'm getting a code 78? I can't even find a code 78 listed in my trouble code printout. But when I toggle the code switch, I get seven long flashes, followed immediately by 8 short flashes, then a pause & repeat. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Eric

It's one Katman did for me. With the jumper on it engaged, it's close to a p30 program off the eprom. With the jumper disengaged, it's a stock p28.
