Civic GSR Swap problems.....Help!!!
I've just recently completed a 98' gsr engine transplant to a 98' civic dx hatchback... I think I wired it right. Not sure though. Any how, it won't idle.. Every time I tried to start it, it will back fired and never idle. The engine is in great shape inside and out. So I'm thinking it maybe a wiring problem or vaccum mix up. Will someone who is experience at this swap tell me what could be wrong?? And please tell me how's the ECU are suppose to be wire and explain how to convert the crank angle sensor... thanks

Check your spark plug order to make sure everything is right. I have made this mistake and the car wouldn't idle or fire up right. I was baffled until I checked my firing order on the dizzy and found it was off.
If you are looking at the distributor cap dead-on from the passenger side of the car, the order of plugs-to-cylinders should be this:
3 4
1 2
And the cylinder order on the motor if you are looking at hit head-on from the front is this:
4 3 2 1
Good luck!
