Re: Civic ex b18c engine need wiring info? (jrepa)
What year civic is this engine going into?? I know if you have an EX civic, you dont have to wire in vtec or knock sensor ( Im not 100% sure if Knock Sensor)...All you have to do, if you have a 92-95 Civic, repin the A20 wire into A17 for IABs and its that simple...Everything else should be plug and play, besides having to lengthen some wires...This info is for a 92-95 civic, not sure if there is any other differences between the OBD's...Im just telling you from my personal experience doing my own engine swap...But I had a DX so I had to wire in VTEC and KS...IABs is simple...Good luck...

Re: Civic ex b18c engine info?
For 92-95 ex
use ex wire harness you gotta extend harness for 2 or 3 sensors
IAB - A17 (and another wire to ground)
you gotta do the knock sensor(even if ex) - D3
Tips:
1.Get integra gsr throttle cable.
2.you may have to use some line from gsr for your clutch slave cylinder.
3.Watch the fuel lines one might be too short and you may need to get a longer one.
4.Use integra axles and intermediate shaft.
5.Drain fluids-Transmission, coolant, engine oil
6.mounts-a.use rear mount from integra
b.don't interchange rubber insulators
c.if you want a/c you'll need 94-97 del sol vtec a/c bracket
The engine has probably been sitting for a while so keep that in mind first time you start it.
Get : new spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor
If possible, clutch, and gaskets
when you go to change the oil filter keep in mind the diameter of the filter may be smaller than you think
if lsd, rpms will be a bit high, jdm sir-g has higher final drive
