CEL (Code)4 on P30 ECM
Ok, I have looked and check my CKP according to this link....http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ics-Code-4-CKP
B16a (JDM)
P30 (JDM)
Pretty much all stock engine....car is a 1992 VX hatch...I know the wiring harness on this car is different than others...and I have double checked my wiring and all of it is good.
Ok, everything checks out with my multimeter and I do not have an oscilloscope. The only test I am not sure of is the OHM test. I have about 400k OHM's but not sure what the specs of my sensor are....where might I find this spec?
The engine runs fine and VTEC kicks in around 5800-6K RPM's....so it is not going into limp mode. I have tried the ECU reset and the light will come on after idling for about 5 seconds. I do not have another distributor to try out. What I was wondering was, has anyone had this problem before and if so, how did you resolve it?
My timing is spot on...double checked everything and I cannot seem to find out what is going on. The car is not in limp mode and accelerates and pulls ok....I just installed the p30 this weekend, I was running a chipped P28 tuned with crome, the tune was just an AFR tune based on my wideband. I want to use the P30 for emissions reason and tuning later...but, much later. I had no issues with the P28 as far as CEL's go.
If you can help great and if not no biggie. Thanks.
