What could cause my car not to crank? I tried to start it for the first time, and it wouldn't even crank? maybe my starter went bad? It worked fine before I put the h22 into the civic. what else could it be?

check all grounds...

battery ground, tranny ground, motor ground (on thermostat housing), and valve cover ground.

Is it not cranking over at all, or is it turning over just not starting. If its not cranking at all, check the starter, battery, or alternator. If its just not starting, check for spark and for fuel. Could be your ignitor, ignition coil, bad plugs, wires, and make sure the harness from the distributer is hooked up. Good luck and hopefully it will fire up for you soon enough.

it is not cranking over at all. like no power is being drawn by the starter. I will check the grounds again, and I might take the starter to pep boys (thats were I got it a while ago) and have them check that. I thought that it might be the battery ground because I relocated it to behind the pass seat, but all the lights go on just fine. I will try all of these and update the progress... thanks!!
