Car not starting need help???
h22a 89 civic
i really just need help on how to test the starter or ignition system.
we just fixed the fuel system, an injector was leaking we replaced the O rings.
now it won't start
how do i know if its the starter?
how do i know if its the ignition spark?
any helps

you can tell if the starter isn't working. if the starter clicks then there is a problem with the starter, the starter motor is not turning the flywheel

look at your starter. There are 2 wires. 1 being a fat one that hooks directly to the battery and the other is a thin one. Pull the thin one and hook a new loose wire to that. Then take the other end of the looose wire and touch it to the positive side of your battery. If it turns and make a noise then you know the starte is ok and it is a internal failure (wiring, relays, ignition.....etc.). Good luck
