Default quick ?

yea i have a beater 89' accord lx-i. and i just wanted some help cuz i know that i may be right but i want to make sure. The problem is that i put the key in the ignition and the ******* thing won't start up. The alternator is new so i'm believing its the starter or ignition is messed up. Could anyone give me some quick help on this ****. Thanks much for da help

no dude it used to make a clicking sound but now it doesn't do ****. the battery is a new battery too. but there is a black wire plugging into the starter and it pops out easily. so i'm assuming that it may have got wet and made an electrical problem.

Do the caveman test ..have some one smack the starter while you hold it in crank. if the starter works , you can replace the starter contacts a drive another 100k miles

Dude just take off the starter and take it into autozone and have it tested. Cause there is other stuff it could be.. just start with the most likely of things, which is the starter/battery.
