Default Can you use a OBD2B distributor with OBD2A wiring??????

I have a 98 Civic Dx that I am doing a swap on. I am using the factory harness and installing a 01 B20Z motor. The distributor plug is different. Can I change the plug to use the new distibutor with it or do I need a ODB2A distributor?

Thanks,
