Default California State Referee question OBD 0 to OBD 1

I have a 91 civic Si hatch back and i'll be installing a 94 Integra LS motor. I'll be converting from OBD 0 to OBD 1 using all OBD 1 components (94 LS distributor, injectors, ecu, 4 wire o2 sensor, and all the required smog components). I'll also be using a OBD 0 to OBD1 ecu jumper harness. Will the jumper pass the visual portion?

yeah I am going to be doing one soon and hopefully no issues. I heard a rumor of some ref's trippin cause of the ability to check ecu codes from the port. I know some who have passed and said no issue but I want to see for myself.

Ya i wired it up so that you can use the SCS conector to check for engine codes. But let me know how it works out.

Yes, you can pass. I know of 2 people who has done it with our OBD-0 to 1 ECU harnesses (can't say for others but one ref mentioned that the harness/wiring was very clean and he liked that). Just as long as you have everything plugged up and wired up, you shouldn't have any problems.

I spoke with the ref in chula vista about the conversion. He said he didn't care how it was wired, as long as it worked exaclty how it does in the obd1 car you're trying to match. So you can use a jumper harness, cut/splice wires, swap/modify harnesses....however you want to do it, as long as it functions properly.

Some may check the SCS, others won't, it just sorta depends on what ref you get. Some may not care either.... Obviously, the cleaner and less "sketchy" you can make the conversion, the more friendly the ref is gonna be about things.
