I have a B16a in a 4th gen civic Si. I have an itr manifold on it and a port matched throttle body, I am lookink to go all motor high compression. I have looked at so many cams setup's and still can't figure the most reliable way to go as far as cams. Is the Ctr intake and an ITR exhaust a good setup or would it be better to go with some JUN cams and upgrade the valve train. Just though I would ask seeing as I am stumped, so anybody runnning any of these setups, JUN, TODA, SPOON, ITR & CTR combo, thanks

good reliability and mileage just staying with ITR package on the cams (a little cheaper too!) going with spring and retainer package. Should dyno that package with cam gears (like Skunk2....), and will make good streetable power that will last with decent gas mileage.If you do the head work and PR3 ECU mods like maybe Locash Mugen program, you might get up the 175 HP to the tire category with good revability.....

I've heard of gains of 10 HP to the wheels with ITR cams. But, if you use an ITR exhaust and CTR cam on the intake, you should expect even greater gains...something like 14-15 HP to the wheels, with cam gears of course.

2000-2001 itr cams are idenical to ctr cams and cheaper. Just make sure to buy them from acura.call mike k at naples acura he wil hook you up with a nice price 1-800-79-acura.

ummm ctr intake cam has a slightly higher lobe. exhaust is identical.
