Hey does a b17 a/c bracket fit on a b16?

The bracket itself will bolt up to the engine just fine. But you cannot bolt up the Civic AC compressor to it, if thats what you are trying to ask.

 

I have a a/c compressor from the d16z6. your saying the i can't use the b17 brackets from the single cam compressor?

1). A B17 isn't a single cam engine
2). The B17 AC bracket will bolt up to the engine, IT WILL NOT bolt up to the AC compressor on all 4 bolt holes
3). You need a P54 AC Bracket or JDM ITR alumn one.

 

I'm aware of b17, I was curious, b/c i'm going to use the compressor from my old engine with b17 a/c bracket.

 

Ive heard but have not confirmed you can use an CRV ac bracket which is about half the price of a p54 but if you have a b16 head you wont be able to use PS.

you can only use the crv bracket if you are using a extended deck motor aka b18c/b16b/b20 otherwise you have to use the doch delsol bracket.
