Buying a Swapped hatch?

Is it a good idea to buy a swapped hatch? I was thinking since I don't have a place or time to do the swap this might be the best way. But I am worried about things that could go wrong, who did the swap, if it was stolen, etc. I was wanting to get some more opninons on if I should buy a swapped hatch or just find the time and place and do the swap myself? Any info would help out thanks a bunch guys

my personal opinion: i will never buy another persons project car.

there is NO way to know how it was treated.
